As probably the largest streaming service in Germany, Joyn offers you a large number of series, films, TV channels and shows. However, as a user with a free Joyn Free account, you cannot see most of the content. For this you need a subscription to Joyn Plus+ and that costs money – actually.
Because you can actually use Joyn Plus+ in a roundabout way without paying a cent. The provider offers you the (legal) opportunity to try Joyn Plus+ for seven days free of charge. To unlock your test week for Joyn Plus+, proceed as follows:

1First you go to the Home of Joyn. Here you will find a button on the top right that says “Try PLUS for free”. Click him. Alternatively, you can also perform these and the following steps in the Joyn app, slightly modified.

On the next screen you will now be informed about the content of Joyn Plus+ that awaits you. Click here on “Try it now for free”.

Now you have to register with an e-mail address and create a secure password. When you’re done, confirm to go to the next screen.

You will be informed that an email has been sent to the address you provided. In this e-mail you will find a confirmation link that you have to click on. If you do that, you will get back to the Joyn website.

Now enter your date of birth and your gender there after you have typed in your password again for verification. Confirm the operation.

On the next screen, click “Continue” again and you will be asked to enter your payment details before you can complete the process. This is necessary because Joyn extends your subscription directly after the seven-day test period has expired and then debits the first monthly rate immediately. But don’t worry, below you can find out how to prevent this. No money will be debited from you during the test period.
Cancel Joyn Plus+
Once that’s done, you can now fully use Joyn Plus+ with all content for seven days. You can even stream in HD. Don’t forget to cancel Joyn Plus+ during your trial period, so you won’t be billed for the following month. In the help section of the official Joyn website you can find out how to cancel your subscription to Joyn.
It is important that you cancel within the test period. For example, if it runs up to and including October 31st, you must also cancel the subscription on this day at the latest. Conveniently, you can cancel the subscription immediately after booking your test period. You can then still make full use of the rest of the seven-day test phase for Joyn Plus+.
Test Joyn for more than seven days
You can use Joyn’s limited free offer – provided you have registered with the service – permanently free of charge. It’s a bit more difficult with Joyn+, but theoretically you can use the premium subscription for much longer than just seven days for free.
If there are several people in your household, they can use the test period one after the other. For example, if four people live together in your house, you can use Joyn Plus+ for 28 days free of charge. The only important thing is that each family member must provide their own account including their own e-mail address.
