Disney’s Valley of Lights is still only in Early Access, and it looks like it’s going to be around for a while, but more players are still flocking to the sim. On the other side of the valley, players are tasked with building friendships, cooking recipes one by one, and more.
The best thing about Dreamlight Valley is that most of it feels relaxing without the huge grind that many other sims offer. No wonder players, even non-Disney fans like me, can’t seem to stay away from the game. That said, one issue is actually keeping players from logging in.

Disney Dream Valley not loading
If you encounter the Disney Dreamlight Valley not loading error, there are a few things you can do to try to get back into the game.
First, you can try restarting the game. Some players report that this is all it takes to fix loading issues, but others point out that it’s not a foolproof solution.
If you’re playing the game on PC via Steam, you can also go ahead and verify the game files to see if there are any issues before reopening the game.
Last but not least, you can also restart your computer to make sure any background processes don’t necessarily interfere with your game.
Failing that, your only option is to wait. Disney Dreamlight Valley said via Twitter that the not-loading bug is their main priority and that a fix is in the works. We’ll keep updating the status today (at the time of writing), and hopefully the fix itself will be released soon as well.
While waiting for a fix isn’t ideal, one thing to look forward to is in-game compensation.

At the same time, the October 31st update for Disney’s Fantasy Valley also happened, addressing various bugs and adding new accessibility options.
Disney’s Valley of Dreams October 31st Update
While the loading bug is still waiting to be fixed, Disney’s Valley of Dreams still released its monthly update on October 31st. This update is full of bug fixes and further optimizations.
For example, that uncomfortable visual effect that would appear on screen when your character was exhausted has now been removed. Added a seizure warning when launching the game and introduced various accessibility options to the game. Players can now adjust screen shake while completing various missions, and even turn off lightning if desired.
Just recently, Scars of the Lion King was added to the game, with a questline traversing the Sunshine Plateau. The quests aren’t quite clear yet, but the quest for root beer has been addressed with this update.
