In Sonic Frontiers, our blue hero is looking for the Chaos Emerald. During this adventure, he is stranded on an ancient island full of unusual creatures.
As Sonic, you’ll battle hordes of powerful enemies and experience open-area platforming freedom across the Starfall Islands as Blue Shadow and friends hunt down Doctor Eggman who has lost control of his “ancient technology.”
The game will provide an evolved gaming experience that lets you explore lush, expansive landscapes with Sonic’s signature speed and abilities.
Originally slated for a 2021 release to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Sonic franchise, Sega delayed quality control work on the game.
It will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on November 8.
