FIFA 23 is the final installment in EA’s long-running football franchise before switching to its own format, EA Sports FC, and leaving FIFA to its own devices. So it’s time to revisit the long story in one way or another – and EA is doing that in relation to the soundtrack, among other things.
The FIFA series has also stood for an excellent soundtrack for many, many years, producing both top hits and real surprise numbers for music fans year after year. Numerous numbers are inevitably associated with a round of FIFA for many players, including, for example, “Kids” from MGMT and others. Every FIFA gambler has certainly made his own experiences.
In cooperation with Spotify, EA now wanted to bring together the best numbers of all soundtracks from FIFA game history – and that is now complete. The result is the Ultimate FIFA Soundtrack, in which 100 songs are now cavorting after the selection made from the soundtracks of many years. 25 years of FIFA history have been brought together musically here.
Anyone who wants to listen can do so in the corresponding playlist on Spotify do. This is accompanied by another promotion: The 40 most streamed songs from the 100-track list will be making a renewed appearance in FIFA 23 when the FIFA World Cup update is released tomorrow, November 9th. So if you want to help your favorite number make a comeback in the current part, you should click and listen diligently.
The promotion kicked off on November 2nd when EA challenged players to nominate their favorite songs from the series. More than 1,000 songs originally entered the race, and the list that has now been published is already the result of the 100 songs that have been clicked the most since then.
