Halo infinity survived both a bumpy pre-launch and post-launch rollout. The game was delayed before its release and then launched without long-running core features like Forge mode and campaign co-op. Couch co-op may not be around anymore, but at least today fans can try campaign co-op games online for the first time.
The big winter update kicks off days after Xbox Game Studios head Matt Booty gave another candid take on the game’s development and launch. Booty said that Halo Infinites Live Service Plan “was absent,” comparing the clearance to the “classic runner’s mistake of stumbling and stumbling as you cross the finish line.”
So, although it’s a long time coming if you still have it in your heart to give Halo infinity One more chance, today would be a good time to get back in.
