Neverwinter: Northdark Reachs, developed in collaboration with New York Times bestselling author RA Salvatore and his son Geno Salvatore, is now live. This new module explores the events that take place between Starlight Enclave and Glacier’s Edge, the first two books in RA Salvatore’s Way of the Drow trilogy.
New campaign and adventure zone
Bound by duty to the throne, King Bruenor seeks Sergeant Knox’s help in the disappearance of Gautlegrym’s most trusted scout, Braelin Janquay. Amid rising tensions between factions and a looming civil war, it will fall to the adventurers of Neverwinter to unravel the mysterious circumstances surrounding Braelin’s disappearance. Heroes brave enough to heed King Bruenor’s call for help will discover and explore the Northdark Reaches, a new region of the Underdark.
Neverwinters The latest module introduces a new campaign, missions, rewards and the next big adventure zone. In addition to the familiar face of King Bruenor, adventurers will also meet new characters like the Mykonid Rumpadump, Saribel Xorlarrin Do’Urden, the daughter of Matron Zeerith Xorlarrin, the drow priestess Minolin Fey, and more. In an exciting new story, players will also visit new repeatable instances such as the Tower of Gabsul Nasad, Neirt Elamnshin and the Mycelial Depths.
Temple of the Spider Dungeon Update
Gather your party and return to the Temple of the Spider in a revamped and updated version of the dungeon! Adventurers must clear the area of new minions of Lolth in order to rescue a secret moondancer who has been brought to the temple for trial for posing as the High Priestess. Lolth is not known for her mercy, so adventurers must hurry to rescue the priestess!
Temple of the Spider will be available on both Normal and Master difficulty. The normal version goes into the Random Dungeon Queue and is available to all players with at least 25,000 item levels. The Master version requires an item level of 75,000 and offers a challenge worthy of the realm’s strongest adventurers, especially those looking to earn the Web Hacker title after completing all Master Dungeon achievements!
Quality of Life & Wizard updates
Neverwinters The latest module brings several quality of life changes. Added improvements to the inventory system to make the adventure easier. These updates include filter and search options, several inventory bag management changes such as: Additional spawn slots should help those looking to expand their spawn options!
In addition to the Quality of Life updates, Wizards will notice several improvements to the class. This includes a fair amount of bug fixes and balance passes, mostly in magnitudes of various powers, but also a few functional changes. This work was done to ensure that Wizards remain competitive with other DPS classes and give Wizard players a few more viable options.
