In addition to large cloud storage, Google One also offers a VPN service. So far, it was only available for smartphones. That is changing now.
Google is now opening up its VPN service VPN by Google One to computers. Subscribers to the Google One premium package can now also use the service, which was previously only available for smartphones, on their PC or Mac. And setting it up is incredibly easy.
Because it takes place via its own VPN client, which Google uses on the product page available for download for Windows and Mac. All you have to do is log in with the same credentials you used to sign up for Google One. You don’t have to worry that you have to log out of your smartphone to use the VPN.
Because VPN by Google One can be used by a total of six devices on one account at the same time. With a monthly price of 9.99 dollars Google One may be comparatively expensive on the VPN market, but you get other bonuses, such as 2 terabytes of cloud storage.
