Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout has had a brutal success with more than 350,000 copies sold. In fact, it has become the best-selling title of the Atelier saga.
Your producer wanted to have some words of thanks to users, reflecting on the different decisions made during the development of the game. This has been made known in an interview for the Siliconera media:
An extraordinary number of players played this game, and we are very grateful for that. What I learned most from this game is that you have to keep challenging yourself. In this title we propose everything from scratch, from the theme to the concept of production and the visual concept. Even within the company, there were several opinions about the concept of the stage and the use of the only summer season. But because we assumed these challenges, I think that as a result many players played this game. And so, we will continue to create games without forgetting to always challenge things with a positive attitude.
