The code name Heron was going to be the next title of Remedy Entertainment of which little was known until now. But now we can confirm that it is none other than Control 2.. It will be a sequel to the original game jointly developed and published with 505 Games for Xbox Series X.S, PC and PS5. Currently It is in the design stage and is being developed using Remedy’s Northlight Engine.
The initial budget is 50 million dollars and Remedy would retain the intellectual property of the game. On the other hand, investments in marketing, development and post-launch support, as well as future net income, will be divided equally between the two companies. Remedy is working on the PC version, while the console versions will be released by 505 Games.
