Like a certain citizen of Knowhere, Marvel snap it’s all about collecting. The success of the digital card game, now available for mobile and PC, depends on gaining an understanding of the in-game currencies and mechanics, including yours collection level. In this guide, you’ll learn everything you need to know about Collection Tiers, including what they are, how to level them up, how to upgrade your existing cards, and how to unlock new ones.
What are Marvel Snap collection levels?
in the Marvel snapyour collection level is a ladder-based progression system where you earn new cards and currency by upgrading the existing cards in your deck. To find your collection level, navigate to the center tab of the home screen (“Mainly“). Here, at the top center of the page, just below your profile avatar, you’ll see a green icon that shows your collection level. Tapping the icon takes you to the progress ladder, where you can see which cards and currencies you’ve unlocked and which are still to come. This is also a great way to see how many levels you need to access your next reward.
Marvel snapThe progression system is currently divided into three pools – Pool 1, Pool 2 and Pool 3 – which determine which maps you have access to. You can access new card pools by increasing your collection level. However, keep in mind that once you make it to Pool 2 or Pool 3, you will also be up against players at that higher level. So don’t get cocky, little one. It’s also worth noting that the maps available in each pool are unlocked randomly. So there is no guarantee on the order that you will receive it.

Here’s how to level up your Marvel Snap collection
Leveling up your cards is the key to increasing your collection level. Maps can currently be upgraded six times, with each upgrade costing more than the previous one. However, if you upgrade a higher tier card, you will get more progress on your collection level. For example upgrading a map to Rarely results in a +2 increase in your collection level as you upgrade to Legendary provides a +6 benefit. (One trick: level up all the base cards you have first. This gives you an early boost and unlocks access to more cards up the gathering level ladder.)
As you earn more cards, it’s worth adding them to your deck and replacing the already upgraded cards. While this may hurt your ranking initially with some losses due to unfamiliarity or nasty card effect combos, choosing this method, win or lose, means you’ll get boosters that could lead to cheaper card upgrades.
This also applies to players further up the collection ladder. Getting creative with decks that contain a combination of lower and higher ranked cards leads to more upgrade options, or at least some lateral thinking.
