Marvel’s Avengers: Winter Soldier is the next character to hit

Marvel’s Avengers fell well short of the original expectations, but the title will continue to be supplied with fresh content. With the Winter Soldier, another superhero will soon find its way into the title.

More than two years ago, Marvel’s Avengers was released by Square Enix, but could not really achieve the once ambitious goals. Despite all this, there is still fresh game content for the remaining gamers; the next update is now scheduled for November 29th.

Then what can you expect? Specifically, you get Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier as a fresh playable superhero and game character. This increases the roster of playable characters to over 10.

Captain America’s sidekick is voiced by Scott Porter, who voiced the character in 2016’s LEGO Marvel’s Avengers. According to developer Crystal Dynamics, the Winter Soldier is an almost exclusively assault-focused hero, meaning he’s responsible for dealing copious amounts of damage to enemies in a variety of ways. There will be different builds for the character, reflecting different playstyles – from the long-range sniper to the hand-to-hand combat expert.

While the Winter Soldier shares a similar move set to Captain America and Black Widows because they were training partners, the character is completely self-contained with new animations, a dedicated skill tree, new hero abilities, and more.
