Nintendo has announced that it will deliver Crossing the Animals: New Horizons to PAX East this weekend, with a "diving experience" set to provide all kinds of fun for fans of the series.
Attendees of the program will get a re-enactment of a live-action-inspired island life, with plenty of photo opportunities with characters acting as K.K. Slider, Isabelle and Tom Nook, also got their hands on a special Tom Nook themed bag while supplies last. Perhaps the most exciting news, is that fans will be able to take part in the first handmade event of the game.
Yes, a playable demo will be required to preview before the game's launch next month, and a guided display on Nintendo's demo platform will also give guests a single-player gaming mode.
Nintendo will offer more to PAX East, too. You will also find playable demos for Pokémon Sword and Shield – where you'll be able to get a special postcard with photos from Galar as a gift – and other similar games Luigi's House 3 and Stretchers. You can also snap a photo with the Pikachu costume, which can be a bad thing.
If you want to play New Horizons at the event, attendees will be able to place a free Warp Pipe Pass to gain access starting from 25 February at 5pm ET. To do so, head on here and sign in with your Nintendo account. New Horizons sales will also be available at the event.
