With the arrival of season 1 content a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II y Warzone 2.0 A new battle pass also arrived with free and paid routes full of rewards, but this one was very different from the one we knew so we will explain what the changes consist of.
Instead of a straight line with rewards that are achieved in a linear fashion, as is traditional, these games now have a system highly inspired by Fortnite.
After the changes, the battle pass of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II
How does the new battle pass work?
The pass is divided into 21 ‘combat sectors’ labeled A0 to A20. All players, regardless of whether they have the free or paid pass, start in sector A1. Each sector has a ‘High Interest Target’ which can be blueprints for a weapon, an operator, CoD points, etc. It also has four ‘minor’ rewards like emblems, t-pendants, and XP boosters. Those that can be obtained in the free pass are clearly indicated, but they are not all. The A0 reward is automatically earned when you purchase the paid pass.
To unlock each reward of each sector we need Battle Tokenswhich we obtain simply by playing Warzone 2.0 o MII. Unlocking all four rewards in a sector enable the high interest objective. Once unlocked with another Battle Token, we can move on to the adjacent sector of our choice.
In total we will need 100 Tokens to unlock everything in the pass. If we do, we will also unlock the special rewards of the AV or ‘victory area’. Completing the paid pass will also give us a total of 1400 COD points, 400 in the free pass.
You can see how this all works in the following video.
Thanks to this new battle pass system we can plan a route to get the rewards we want most as soon as possible and start using it in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 y Modern Warfare II.
