Inexpensive but complete watch
Although this Amazfit does not belong to the GTS range, it retains some of its technical characteristics. Perhaps the most striking is the compatibility with calls via Bluetooth, which allows us to connect our mobile phone and talk directly through the bracelet; is one of those functions that are very flashy but can be useful in many situations.
It is also very striking that the POP 2 has a blood oxygen saturation meter, which until not so long ago was exclusive to flagship models. It will allow us to know if we have breathing problems, for example, when we sleep if we snore or suffer from sleep apnea. Otherwise, it has the basic smartwatch features, like over 100 sport modes, music control, and the ability to choose between multiple watch faces.
However, this watch falls short in some respects, which is to be expected. The most important lack is the GPS, and therefore we will have to continue to take the mobile with us to register where we have done our exercise.
At the moment, the Amazfit POP 2 has only been announced in India, where it will be priced at 3,999 rupees, the equivalent of 47 dollars; Moreover, it will be available with an initial offer at 3,299 rupees, 39 dollars to change. Although its launch in Europe has not yet been confirmed, so it can be a good alternative if we find it in import stores.
