Amazon has in Alexa one of the best voice assistants on the market, with the authorization of Google, well ahead of those of Samsung or Apple. However, it is not perfect, as many users can confirm, especially if they are using the Android app.
I myself have been using this app a lot more lately for the analysis of the Amazon Echo Dot 2022 and other new devices that will arrive in a few days on these pages.
At one point the Amazon app on Android crashed, not letting me start it anymore. I managed to fix it, but not permanently.
How to Fix Alexa App Crash
As always, the first thing we have to check is if there is any problem on our part, in the mobile or in the connection.
We check that the connection is ok
It is necessary to be able to navigate well from the mobile, either with mobile connectivity or by Wi-Fi. For this we can try to use other applications that use the Internet or check that the connection parameters are correct.
If all is well but Alexa is still not working, we are still investigating.
Delete app data
This section is generic for any application that is not working well, as it was the previous step.
To do this we go to the settings and in the Applications section we select the Alexa application. Once inside, we go to the storage part and delete the application’s cache and memory.
If we open the application again and Alexa still does not work, we move on to the next point.
Uninstalling the mobile app
The next step is to delete the mobile application, uninstalling it from the interface or from the store that we have downloaded.
We reinstall it and put our credentials. If that doesn’t work, you need to go to the last step.
Use airplane mode
