Warframe will receive a new series of survival missions with the 51st warframe: Voruna.
These missions all take place in Lua for those who have completed the “Civil War Mission” mission and are a spin on the usual format. As with typical survival missions, players must stay on life support over time. However, with these Thrax enemies spawn on each successful round, draining life support and can only be killed with Necramechs.
There’s a lot more that makes these missions special. On top of Thrax enemies, ghostly Dax soldiers will spawn and walk towards the life support machines. They emit an aura when approached, providing various buffs to the player standing within them.
But the real prize, of course, is the new Warframe: Voruna. This can be unlocked immediately when the Lua’s Prey update launches on November 30th, or it can be obtained in-game by collecting parts.
This Warframe was co-designed with Joe Madureira of Airship Syndicate and Darksiders fame. The studio, which may sound familiar, is the developer of an as-yet-unannounced MMO from Digital Extremes.
The Werewolf Warframe has been requested and hyped for the past few years, and was finally revealed recently as part of the Warframe Anniversary event. With it finally making its way to the game, players can choose one of their dream frame designs from their wish list.
