Recently there was a report that announced the release date of Diablo IV for this year’s Game Awards in December. According to an insider, there should be tangible new information about the game even in the run-up to the big award show.
Fans of the long-standing success series Diablo can obviously really look forward to tangible new information about the game in the near future – and there’s a good chance that the release date will also count. After this Windows Central recently announced the release date for this year’s Game Awards in December, an extremely well-known insider has now spoken out.
Via Insider Gaming the well-known and well-informed Tom Henderson has now stated that Blizzard will release fresh information and details about Diablo IV even in the run-up to the Game Awards on December 8th. Accordingly, selected media should have access to the title and may then disclose new information. The corresponding embargo should fall before the award ceremony itself.
Henderson is said to have even been given a specific date for the embargo to expire, but he did not want to disclose this, also because such dates can change again at very short notice. Incidentally, the announcement of the specific release date is expected in the near future; rumor has it that this could be the case at the Game Awards itself.
To keep Insider Gaming and also before Windows Central right, then the pre-order of Diablo IV will start with the announcement of the date. Players who decide early should get early access to the new action RPG in the form of a beta version in advance in the coming year 2023.
Earlier this year, Blizzard Entertainment unveiled the fifth and final character class for the new game, the Necromancer. So far, the release has only been confirmed for the coming year 2023.
