scarlet and violet got off to a janky-ass start. Flaws include framerates that slow to a crawl, horrible graphic pop-ins, and characters and monsters that overlap each other. Even Poké Balls cause some peculiar problems, e.g. B. the disappearance of the landscape or the camera going crazy. But could you honestly look at this game and tell me that this was your best effort? The FPS and graphics made me check if I accidentally played this on a toaster. They kinda got away with removing so many great features and quality of life things like showing status animations, making exp share decisions, disabling fight animations that I could continue.

They concluded: “Since I complained about the state of this game, I can no longer be a part of this problem. I got my money back and I feel a lot better.”

Pokemon scarlet and violet is the latest entry in the series, and while it’s buggy as hell, the games at least introduce some new monsters to collect. This contains a cute murderous ghost dog, an Apple Jacks-looking mascotand a Yassified peacock. Perhaps future patches will make the game around them easier to enjoy. One hopes, right?
