For a while, Square Enix gave Montreal (later renamed Onoma) made some of the best mobile puzzle games of all time. Hitman Go, Lara Croft Go and DeusExGo were three of the most sophisticated and challenging games you could play on your phone, and all have perished as classics of the genre. Unfortunately, one of them is about to disappear forever.
Onoma – who were suddenly closed earlier this month
Arena Battle Champions, Deus Ex GO, Hitman Sniper: The Shadows, and Space Invaders: Hidden Heroes will be retired on January 4th.
The games will be removed from the App Store/Google Play Store on December 1st and current players will not be able to access the games after January 4th.
In-game purchases are now discontinued. We recommend using previous in-game purchases made before January 4th as they will not be refunded.
On behalf of the development team, we would like to thank you for playing our games.
Note that these don’t just disappear from these two stores, they are disappear, although the games will no longer be accessible after January 4th, even if you have already downloaded them. From a personal point of view – as someone who wipes dust walk
People have made this game, people have bought this game and people have enjoyed this game for years and with the closure of a studio and some rights changes, will it just cease to exist in an official capacity now?
The closures have no impact Lara Croft Go and Hitman Goboth of which are also available on PC (DeusExGo was once available in the Windows Store but has since been removed from there as well).
