A fantasy role is therefore high on Sam Heughan’s wish list and with the Amazon series “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” the perfect project could already be found.

Season 2 of “The Rings of Power” is currently being filmed, a total of 5 seasons are planned. In any case, there would be enough time to accommodate Heughan in a small guest role – or even in a leading role. But of course the shooting schedule of “Outlander” would have to play a role if the series is continued with an 8th season.
Outlander Season 7 production should be the focus for Heughan right now, but we’re sure Jamie Fraser would do well as an Elf too!
