A year ago we asked ourselves in the podcast: Can Battlefield 2042 still be saved? Twelve months later, the multiplayer shooter is entering its third season, but one cannot speak of “rescue” yet.
Micha discusses with two guests why this is and why Battlefield 2042 is still treading water despite all the progress:
- Our shooter expert Dimi is now much more impressed with Battlefield 2042 than when it was launched, has spent over 100 hours in the game in the last few weeks and has now subjected it to a post-test just in time for the start of Season 3.

For Fabian and Dimi, however, the solution that Dice now wants to put into play is half-baked.
And as Hunt Showdown fans, how do you rate the Hazard Zone Battlefield mode, also compared to DMZ from Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0?
