Ever since mankind discovered that various pigments could be smeared on cave walls, people have been drawing roosters on things. Of the Behold the Abbot Giant Winky and winky-shaped creations appear all over your mother’s bathroom wall anything can be crafted. So that’s it Sims 4 gallery was as full of cocks as the underside of any bridge. Until now.
As discovered by VG247a Update on the official Sim’s 4 to blog reports that it added a Gallery profanity filter update.
“We are aware and have seen a few select instances of totally unacceptable content being uploaded The Sims 4 Gallery,” the post begins, as if a disappointed principal were speaking to the whole school. “Our team reviewed and critically updated the profanity filter to prevent this from happening again in the future.” They don’t require students to raise their hands, but if someone wants to come forward and confess before they get caught, they will Make life easier for everyone involved.

My favorite example of this was when another Will Wright game, sporereleased its free character creator and immediately Spur was born. sims Creator, Wright even commended such effortsand called them “amazingly explicit”. However, that’s nothing The Sims, with its family-friendly image, could lean on. No matter how degenerate she could be if you play it in the comfort of your own cabin.
So that’s it Sim’s 4Revamped the profanity filters to make the gallery a safe place for kids to browse. EA continues to urge the community to help monitor this issue, flagging indecent uploads while pledging to “do our part by quickly removing any objectionable content that crops up.” They also say they will “remove” repeat offenders and “will periodically check the profanity filter in case updates need to be made.”
EA is too shy to give examples of what made its way into the database, (and it is not exactly innocent when it comes to adding inappropriate content of their own) but it seems fairly certain that they are tails. It’s always tails.
I was browsing the gallery this morningthe most obnoxious content I could find is people’s sense of dress. And no tails at all.
