At the beginning of August we knew the Vivo Y02s, a phone from the Chinese brand Geared towards tight pockets due to its economical price. We are now witnessing the launch of the version without ‘s’, the Vivo Y02. And he imitated those qualities.
Of course, this Vivo Y02 is an entry-level mobile does not prevent you from looking interesting and attractive. See for example its large battery capacity or its software adapted to its limited features in terms of performance.

Appropriate for its price, although with some sins
We should start by talking about the design of this terminal, highlighting its straight edges on the sides with a very striking camera module at the top left. On the front stands out its 6.51 inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution. As expected in the range, with pronounced edges and a drop format selfie camera.
If we penetrate into its bowels, we find an old man known as Helio P22, a Mediatek chip geared towards the most economical range. This processor is accompanied by a single option of 3 GB of RAM memory and one 32 GB of storage which, yes, is expandable up to 1TB via Micro SD card.
One of its great attractions is its 5000mAh battery, which should guarantee excellent autonomy. Although this point is thwarted by a non-existent fast charge, since It has a Micro USB port and not with USB-C, which is not only the most standardized port, but also the one that allows loads well above the 10 W to which Micro USB is limited.
An aspect that we could also consider as a sin is that does not include any type of facial or fingerprint recognition. In the economy range, it is not so surprising to find these shortcomings, but it is equally remarkable to say that the other terminals in the range do indeed integrate at least one fingerprint sensor which, without being the most successful, allows you to unlock the terminal without the need to use a password or an unlock pattern.
There is little surprise if we talk about their cameras. On the front we find a 5 megapixel selfie camerawhile in the back y the bet is increased to one 8 megapixel camera
As for the software, one could criticize that it does not come with Android 13, but the truth is that it is not badly formed at this point either by bringing Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 Go Edition. It’s a ultra light personalization layer which in turn is very similar to pure Android.
