A free Gotham Knights update will be available today. Featuring the 4-player co-op that has been promised for a while and a new villain like no other.
While Warner Bros Games Montreal might announce a huge DC game, Gotham Knights is fixing its flaws and trying to enrich its content. Get ready for new challenges!
Gotham Knights moves to four-player co-op
Gotham Knights Co-op is currently limited to two players online. A barrier that will somehow jump today. With the free update, deployed at 5pm (French time), the game will integrate a cooperative mode for up to 4 players: Heroic Assault.
Unfortunately, this is actually a special mode and it will always be impossible to complete the full adventure with four players. Instead, you must complete specific objectives and defeat enemies spread across thirty floors of an arena.
Heroic Assault is an upcoming game mode separate from the main campaign. Supporting up to four players in online co-op, this standalone mode features a special arena-like environment with specific objectives to complete and opponents to defeat on each floor (30 floors in total).
The bonus that wasn’t planned is the arrival of a new DC villain in Gotham Knights: Starro. The intergalactic starfish that seems to have shrunk since the transit The Suicide Squad.
