Forget all the tricks you knew so far to clean AirPods!
Cleaning AirPods isn’t easy. there are many different nooks and crannies and materials, but they don’t always manage to do it accurately. To narrow down that possibility, Belkin introduced a super-complete kit this week that every AirPods owner should have.
As an Apple-recognized third-party manufacturer, we can confirm that this is 100% designed with AirPods in mind. From the company they claim that it is useful for traditional first, second and third generation devices and not with AirPods Pro. Of course, its main function is remove earwax and restore “acoustic performance without damaging headphones”. In other words, it frees us from the greatest fear when we perform this task.
To live up to its name, this AirPods kit includes several elements. The protagonist is a cleaning brush, whose main function is supported by a wax softener, a cleaning gel and a microfiber cloth. All of these can be purchased for $14.99, according to the company’s official website.
The Belkin kit is compatible with all generations of AirPods, but not AirPods Pro.
The truth is that the Belkin AirPods kit promises:

The first generation AirPods were released in 2016 and the second generation model was announced two and a half years later. And although with more wait time, the third generation of AirPods finally came out at the end of 2021.
With each generation, Apple has outdone itself, securing the well-deserved title that ranks headphones among the best in the world. Although the AirPods Pro offer even more alternatives, this time Belkin has left them out of its offer, without explanation, at least for now.
