With the last DLC, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is now complete and all eyes are slowly but surely on the next part of Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. Renowned insiders are now bringing a potential release period into play – after the title is said to have been postponed internally several times.
The usually very well informed and reputable website Insider Gaming has once again used its own sources and is now launching supposed information about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. The new part of the long-standing action series is supposed to be smaller than, for example, the current Valhalla, but the development is by no means completely problem-free.
According to the report, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, which is supposed to return to the roots of the series with stealth elements and parkour passages and is dedicated to Basim’s past and history, has already been postponed twice internally. According to the original plan, the title, which was only officially planned for 2023, could have been available much earlier than is now the case.
But when is it now? After all, there is only one trailer from Ubisoft to date, which speaks of 2023 in general. While the publication is loud Insider Gaming was probably planned at the beginning of the year, the two internal postponements have now ensured that, according to the sources concerned, it should probably be in August 2023. Of course, this has not yet been officially confirmed, which is why you should still treat this information with caution – even if the website often hits the mark.
In the report, the authors also point out that the chance is not zero that there will not be another delay. If the further work does not go according to plan, a release in autumn, for example in November, is conceivable. But you would not find out about such delays publicly, because the time window of August 2023 that was put in the room has not yet been confirmed.
Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is scheduled for release in 2023 for PC, Amazon Luna, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
