The AirPods Pro 2 includes many improvements over its original generation, but most of them focus on its charging case. And that’s not bad at all: we have a precision search with the search application, charging via the Apple Watch cable and speakers with which you can locate the AirPods without problems.
But there’s one feature of these AirPods Pro 2 that might not entirely convince you: a particular sound that the charging case makes when we charge it
Turn off AirPods Pro 2 charging sound in two clicks
All you need to do is connect your AirPods Pro 2 to iPhone and enter settings. There, the AirPods menu will appear just below the section with your Apple ID (and your family’s if you have configured this option):
You will enter the menu with all the AirPods Pro options, and there you can disable the option “Enable case charging sounds”
The idea of this sound is to indicate that the charge has started correctly, but you can also verify it by seeing that the light on the case has come on without any problem. If it is orange, the charge is in progress, and if it is green, it means that the battery is at 100% and therefore you no longer need to recharge it.
