The hard reality
As we tell you, the bloodiest thing of all isn’t that the game has hit stores with widespread issues across all of its formats and platforms due to poor development, but that there’s had classes and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X The Callisto Protocol works as it should with a quality that is precisely what everyone who waited for it assumed throughout last year.
And if you don’t believe us, to show a button: below you can see how the game behaves for a user in some of its phases on a PC that we cannot say is lame in power. The Callisto Protocol

But the worst is surely coming now. Striking Distance Studios, responsible for the game released like this, announced in a few hours that it was going to correct all these problems so, good or bad face, users understood that they had to wait a few days before receiving a solution. But no, things went much faster, so much so that a patch is now available since it specifies that they knew in advance the state in which their computer title was on sale.
A bandage instead of a patch
The result of this study reaction was the publication a few hours ago of a patch this will fix that annoying stuttering which you can see in the video above and which is really a nuisance. In their official message, they warn that “Thank you for your patience. A patch is now available for PC which improves the issues with stuttering
The Callisto Protocol
@CallistoTheGame
Thank you for your patience. A PC patch is now available to improve gameplay stuttering issues due to shader compilation. After the update, you may see a temporary stutter in the game menu the first time you launch the app. We are working on further optimizations in the coming days.

It is obvious that deleting this stuttering is very good, but check how with an ultra-powerful PC frames lead without a compelling reason is even more frustrating. So it’s this whole part of the performance that’s going to require the most pick and shovel over the next few days before we really have a cure for a totally unacceptable fact.
We already know that fixed release dates are sacred and that PlayStation (or Microsoft when it comes to that) command a lot and it’s always good to stick to established deadlines, but even a good delay of a few more weeks on PC launch day, it would have served to fix everything in a more elegant way. Which is obviously not the case with The Callisto Protocol.
