The Game Awards 2022 are fast approaching and it has now been officially confirmed that the promising sequel Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will also make an appearance. In addition, the official key art was published in advance.
If you are interested in the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, you should not do too much on the last night of the current working week. Today, Electronic Arts, Respawn Entertainment, and Lucasfilm Games jointly confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be making an appearance at the upcoming The Game Awards 2022.
Accordingly, a first glimpse of the actual game is planned for the big award show by and with Geoff Keighley. The transmission of the award ceremony starts on December 9th at 1:30 a.m. German time – then including the new action-adventure in the Star Wars universe. In order to heat up the anticipation a little bit, the official key art for the game was published in advance, which you can see above.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Always one step ahead of the Empire’s minions, Cal Kestis is growing more aware of what it means to be one of the last Jedi in the galaxy. Alongside his trusty companion BD-1, Cal will bond with a variety of unique and interesting characters throughout his journey. To survive, Cal must evolve as a Jedi, learning new skills and strengthening his connection with the Force.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released in 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. There may be a specific release date as part of the Game Awards, because this may have already been leaked in advance. March 16, 2023 appeared as the release date on Steam. The official confirmation is still pending.
