This week, Diablo fans should finally get solid news about Diablo IV – be it in the run-up to the Game Awards or at the event. The release date could also be announced, but it may have already appeared on the internet.
It is now considered certain that there will be tangible news about Diablo IV this week – not just since the update of the official Twitter channel for the game yesterday. In the run-up to the Game Awards, an announcement could already have been leaked: the specific release date.
Apparently, someone in the Microsoft Store acted prematurely and quickly entered the concrete release date for the Xbox version expected for this week in the database. Dataminers and alert leakers have taken notice; If the leak is correct, then Diablo IV will probably be available from June 5, 2023.
The download size has also been added to the Microsoft Store in the meantime; accordingly, 80 GB of data will probably be due for the new action role-playing game from Blizzard Entertainment.
It is interesting with regard to the possible specific date that there has only recently been speculation on the internet that Blizzard could have pushed the release time window originally planned for April 2023 back to June. So June 5 would fit this rumor perfectly.
It remains to be seen whether fresh information about the title will be published in the run-up to the Game Awards. However, it is considered fairly certain that Diablo IV will also appear in Geoff Keighley’s show. In addition to the date, there will probably also be information about a Collector’s Edition and an open beta test phase in the run-up to the release.
