Good news: The Game Awards 2022 was exactly the opportunity to discover a new trailer for Final Fantasy XVI and the least we can say is that it has been provided.

Ifrit back with a bang
Besides learning more about the background of the story, The new trailer also reveals some quick gameplay sequences and a whole host of environments that we’re already excited to discover controller in hand. Crystal cave, large plains, sandy desert, the Square Enix game already seems to promise a colorful world, in addition to some memorable clashes with more than imposing enemies.
Because if there is indeed a star in this trailer, it is obviously the incantations characteristic of the Final Fantasy saga and of Ifrit in particular. The latter actually seems central to the game’s scenario and could be closely related to the main protagonist.
