In August we came across the Vivo Y35, a 4G mobile with Snapdragon 680 that joined Vivo’s mid-range arsenal in Europe. Now, the Vivo Y35 has a 5G brotherthe Vivo Y35 5G, with some improved features and others that represent a throwback.
The Vivo Y35 5G is a new mid-range mobile with Dimensity 700, give and take battery and a price that remains quite tight, below 200 dollars to change. Its design is very similar to the Vivo Y35 4G.

Now with 5G
The Vivo Y35 4G went on sale in Europe during the summer for around 279 dollars as a 4G mobile with some interesting features, such as the 50 megapixel triple camera, IP5X protection or the FullHD+ screen at 90 Hz. We now have the Vivo Y35 5G i change all of the above for 5G connectivity.
5G goes hand in hand with MediaTek Dimension 700, which comes with a choice of 4, 6 or 8 GB of RAM, in all cases with 128 GB of storage to match. The 4G model opted for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680.
Better connectivity, but in exchange we have discounts in almost all specifications. The screen is still a 6.51-inch LCD, but with HD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. What increases is the touch response speed, which is 120 Hz. On this screen we find the 5-megapixel front camera.
While the Vivo Y35 4G had a 50-megapixel triple camera, in the 5G model we have a rather modest one. 13 megapixel dual camera. The second sensor is 2 megapixels and is responsible for macro photography.
The Vivo Y35 5G is completed with a 5000 mAh battery supplemented by 15W fast charge and it goes on sale with OriginOS Ocean based on Android 13. The fingerprint reader is located on the power button, on one of its sides.
Vivo Y35 5G versions and prices
The Vivo Y35 5G is currently official in China, and we still don’t know if this version will be sold in other regions. There it is available in three RAM and storage combinations and in three colors: black, blue and gold.
