Wayfinder is a new action role-playing game that is reminiscent of Torchlight at first glance. Alone or with friends, you go into battle against numerous monsters and other enemies. The goal: get rich loot and improve your characters called Wayfinder. The special feature, however, is that you can design your own adventures.
You determine in advance which challenges and modifiers you should expect. Among other things, you can customize which beasts you hunt and what you can collect. You use a variety of different and also customizable skills. Use magic, draw on mystical technologies, or engage in melee combat. You use the resources you collect to create new items and weapons that you can take with you to the next adventure.
A first closed beta on the Playstation 5 and the PC is scheduled to start as early as next week. You can look at the Sign up for Wayfinder’s website. A first trailer with game scenes already gives you a foretaste of the action in colorful comic garb:
