It seems that additional content may appear elder ringif comments made by Hidetaka Miyazaki during his acceptance speech at The Game Awards 2022 are any indication.
In his speech, Miyazaki said there were “a few things” the team wanted to do for the Game of the Year winner, as winning the award provided a sense of encouragement
“During the development of this game, we encountered a lot of difficulties. As a director, I was really relieved,” said Miyazaki. “It might not be right to say that on the occasion of the Game of the Year award, but I was determined to make something more fun than this game.
“As for Elden Ring, we still have a couple of things to do, so getting this award is really encouraging for us.”
Just this week, FromSoftware released the Elden Ring Colosseum update. The PvP-focused update features three arenas: Limgrave Colosseum with two game modes, Battle Tribulation where each player fights for himself, and Leyndell Colosseum with Duel Mode.
Speaking of Miyazaki’s acceptance speech, remember the teenager who uninvited to join FromSoftware after the developers were taken away and hogged the microphone? The perpetrator was arrested shortly after.
That’s according to the Los Angeles Police Department, whose public information officer told Polygon that the 15-year-old was taken into custody before being taken to the police station and charged with “theatrical performance.” OK
