The various editions of Diablo 4 were leaked in advance. There was no information about the Collector’s Edition. Now that the action role-playing game has been given a fixed release date, all editions have been officially unveiled.
Above all, the Collector’s Edition is now a topic of conversation. Because it includes a lot of goodies – but one thing is missing: the game! So if you order the Collectors Edition, you only get the goodies, you have to buy the game again individually.
If you still want to grab the Collector’s Edition, you’ll also need to be quick. This particular edition is namely limited and will eventually sell out. It is not known exactly how many of these there will be. The price has not yet been revealed either.
Pre-sales begin on December 15 and runs through the Blizzard Gear Store.

What’s in the Collector’s Edition?
It’s a good thing that the Collector’s Edition doesn’t come with a full version of the game, as we’ve just clarified. But what exactly is in this limited package? That would revealed in a new blog post.
These are the contents of the collector’s box:
- A candle of creation: A fancy red candle that most likely works electrically.
- A Cloth Map of Sanctuary: A lavishly designed map of the game world. Here you can see the area you travel in Diablo 4 and not all of Sanctuary.
- An Art Band: A book of in-development artwork and concept art.
- An occult mouse pad: A black mouse pad with a pentagram.
- A collectible pin of the Horadrim: A lapel pin that identifies you as a member of the Horadric.
- Two matted art prints: You will receive two matte prints of Diablo 4 artwork measuring 47cm by 27.4cm.
As mentioned, the cost of the fun has not yet been revealed.

You can get a taste of the cosmetic content in this overview. Keep in mind that some of this content is intended for other games and will be released on different dates.
- Diablo 3: The items will be added to your account from December 16th.
- World of Warcraft: The content for WoW will be added to the MMO from December 9th. But only on the PC version. If you have ordered D4 on PS5 or Xbox Series S/X, you have to wait until June 6, 2023.
- Diablo Immortal: You can redeem the new set from December 14th. Again, console players will have to wait until June 6, 2023.
At GameStar, we generally advise against pre-ordering games. Even if it seems like Diablo 4 will offer an excellent gaming experience. At least that’s what we saw in our big game round. You can read more about this in our detailed preview:
