Every year from Metacritic they send us a list with the best and the worst of that same year. And the truth, except in special cases, is that this type of stocking they tend to coincide a lot with the real valuation of the majority of the slops that arrive on the market each year.
And let’s face it, making a game is a risk, lots of hours of work… and such, but if it’s bad, well, that’s it, period. So this list is at least a red flag for you to run away from if you see any of these proposals.
The 10 worst games of 2022
This year could not be otherwise, and leave us the list of the 10 worst games of all 2022. For the elaboration of the list, any game with less than 7 reviews made by professional or critical media, was excluded. Here is a bit of everything, maybe the most disappointing were CrossfireX and Babylon’s Fallone more example that confirms that even big-name studios can use poison to make a few bucks off the unwary who fall in love with a trailer.
If you want the full list, I’ll leave it below separated by platform. Xbox has 2 exclusives on the list, while Sony consoles have 4. The rest are shared by Switch and PC respectively. The list is simple to understand, game, rating and platform:
- POSTAL 4 – No registration – 30 (BP).
- CrossfireX – 38 (Xbox Series X).
- The fall of Babylon – 41 (PS5).
- XEL – 43 (Nintendo Switch).
- LEGO brawls – 46 (PS5).
- Zorro: The Chronicles – 59 (PS5).
- The Last Oricru – 50 (Xbox Series X).
- The Waylanders – 51 (BP).
- Kamiwaza: the way of the thief – 52 (PS4).
- Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition – 52 (Nintendo Switch).
What do you think of the list? Are you missing any of them?
