Getting Netflix on Sky Q, Sky Glass TV or Sky Stream is relatively simple and you’ll get full interface integration, meaning you can browse Sky and Netflix content together, as well as use Sky search to find things to watch.
Not only does this mean your Sky and Netflix billing are seamlessly linked, but you’ll also save money compared to paying them separately.
How much does Netflix cost on Sky Q?
At the time of writing, you will need to pay £26 per month (pm) for Sky TV with Netflix included. It’s called Sky TV Ultimate and the offer requires installation costing £20 and an 18-month contract.
To break it, signature of the sky is your basic TV package with over 300 channels. It is normally £33 but is available for £22 for the duration of the contract. So Ultimate TV Supplement for £4 (normally £18) is your Netflix subscription.
Other packages are available if you want to include things like Sky Cinema or Sky Sports – these are £35 and £46 respectively.
Sky’s setup fee is normally £199, so you save £179 if you don’t already have Sky.

Can I get Netflix on Sky Glass?
Since Sky has launched its own TV which doesn’t need a satellite dish, you don’t need to get Sky through the traditional Sky Q set-top box.
Netflix is available on Sky Glass with prices starting at £36 – that’s £13 for TV and £23 for Sky Ultimate TV with Netflix. There is also an initial charge of £10.

Can I get Netflix on Sky Stream?
Sky’s most flexible product to date, Sky Stream, lets you enjoy all the benefits of this satellite-free TV package. Sky Stream, Sky TV and Netflix package costs £23 per month on a permanent contract of 18 months, or £26 per month on a rolling 31-day contract.
Again, there are also packages available which bundle into Sky Cinema and Sky Sports. There is a £39.95 setup fee for new customers.

Can I watch Netflix in Ultra HD on Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream?
Sky Ultimate TV or Ultimate TV Add On gives you Netflix Basic. This offers unlimited streams and downloads across the full range of Netflix series, movies, and shows on a single device.
If you want Netflix Standard for HD quality on two devices, you need the HD Sky Pack. It’s £8 extra on a rolling 31-day contract and also gets you over 40 live HD channels.
Upgrade to UHD Sky Pack gives you Netflix Premium, which means you can watch in Ultra HD and on four devices. It’s an extra £12.

How does billing work with Netflix on Sky?
If you already have a Netflix subscription, you will simply need to log into Sky with your existing details.
Sky will then contact Netflix and do all the paperwork so you can start paying Netflix through your Sky bill. Sky says you’ll save money compared to getting your subscriptions separately.
Indeed, Netflix alone costs £6.99, £10.99 or £15.99 for Basic, Standard and Premium. Netflix Basic with adverts, priced at £4.99, is not included with Sky.
Getting them with Sky will cost 4h, 8h or 12h, saving you up to £3.99 per month or £71.82 on an 18 month contract.
How to use Netflix on Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream
In its simplest form, you can simply load the Netflix app into the Sky interface (located under “Apps” on Sky Glass) and use it as you would on any other device. You can sideload the app with Sky’s voice search and use it for voice search in Netflix.
The integration means you will also see and be able to access Netflix content from the Sky interface. So you’ll see Netflix shows like The Crown alongside Sky content on the home screen as well as other areas like On Demand (above).
If you’re accessing Netflix on Sky Glass, be sure to open and sign into the app directly on your TV, rather than a Stream Puck for secondary devices in your household.

What if I have Sky Boxes?
You can keep your current plan, but you cannot sign up for a new Netflix account as part of the subscription. You also cannot benefit from combined billing. However, you can still sign in and use an existing Netflix account on your Sky device.
Will I keep my Netflix profile on Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream?
Yes. If you already have a Netflix account, signing in will retain your account details, including your personal profiles and any shows you watch, etc.
Sky says “Just follow the link after you place your order and we’ll move it straight away, and you won’t be charged twice.”
How to activate Netflix on Sky?
You can activate Netflix on your Sky device via the user interface – just open Netflix and follow the instructions – or do it online via www.sky.com/activatenetflix.
Can I watch Netflix on Sky apps?
In a word, no. You will just continue to use the Netflix app on devices like your phone and tablet. Sky Go remains separate.
Can I get Netflix on Sky+?
That’s also a no, so you’ll have to upgrade to Sky Q or Sky Glass to get Netflix.
