Tomb Raider is getting a new installment in the series, and that’s not even the biggest eye-opener in this story. Amazon Games, who produce the game in cooperation with Crystal Dynamics, acts as the developer. Amazon also acts as a publisher.
The game is intended to continue the story of the reboot and rely on Unreal Engine 5 technology. So Lara Croft could shine in a graphically even more opulent light than the new trilogy already did.
What is already known about the new Tomb Raider

That’s what the people in charge say
Scot Amos, Studio Head at Crystal Dynamics, sees the collaboration with Amazon as an opportunity for the franchise. The open formulation of his statement also leaves room for further future cooperation:
They are uniquely positioned to redefine a publishing and development collaboration, and we look forward to embarking on this new journey together, beginning with the development of the biggest and best Tomb Raider game yet.
The Vice President of Amazon Games, Christoph Hartmann, is similarly euphoric about the future together with Tomb Raider:
[…] Our team is incredibly excited to work with the talented and visionary team at Crystal Dynamics to bring the next chapter in the Lara Croft saga to gamers around the world.
