OPPO has been making quality cell phones for quite some time and is fighting with market giants to keep growing in market share. But for a few generations, the Asian firm has been putting even more effort into something that seems key to its expansion: personalization. Mainly because in the Android environment, resources are so standardized that it’s hard to tell them apart.
That’s why OPPO creates chips in its own house. Chips like the MariSilicon Y which he presented a few days ago and which will bring lossless sound to his future Find X6, or like the MariSilicon X which has already improved the photography of the Find X5 and will do the same with his next generation. The Find X6 wants to lead mobile photography
After presenting its two new foldable cell phones, the OPPO Find N2 and the OPPO Find N2 Flip, it seems that the brand’s attention may be on the next leaders of its “rigid screen” catalog. And that implies that the OPPO Find X6 returns to the front row. If everything goes well, we should see an OPPO Find X6 and an OPPO Find X6 Pro comingby the way, with a Find X6 Lite that could arrive at the same time or maybe later.
These OPPO Find X6s have been accumulating leaks for some time and the latest tells us about their photographic equipment. Thanks to a regular at these parties such as Digital Chat Station, we now have some more specific specs to put on the table. And these specifications indicate that OPPO is again trying to capitalize on photographic power to elevate their OPPO Find X6 futures to the top of the market leaderboard.

This leak tells us that the main 50-megapixel camera will be a Sony IMX890, which will have an f/1.8 aperture and have optical stabilization. The same leak further inflates the number of telephoto lenses that it seems that it will no longer be 32 megapixels but 50 megapixels, and which (now yes) will have 3 optical magnifications. The digital and the hybrids will remain to be known, moreover.
It is also said that Hasselblad will again intervene in the camera software, and perhaps also in the construction of the lenses themselves, while the MariSilicon X will renew its appearance at the controls of digital image processing. All this is complemented by other data such as a 9.2 millimeter thick glass body, or the 12.3 millimeters that it will reach in the camera module, or the 207 grams of weight.
Now there will only be that the filtration process continues its usual rhythm until OPPO presents its next creations. We don’t know if it will be at CES which opens in 2023, if it will be at Mobile World Congress in February or if we will have a specific event for the presentation between the two dates.
