The GG project is the next game of a platinum game directed by Kamiya

The next Platinum 4 is unveiled.

As promised, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals the next game on the Platinum Games platform.

Dubbing GG projectThe hero action game is directed by Hideiya Kamiya. The GG project is destined to be the end of the Kamiya Giants Trilogy, which consists of Viewtiful Joe and The Wonderful 101.

"Viewtiful Joe is a Kamen Rider, one person becomes a hero, and Wonderful 101 is more like a group of people into heroes, Project G.G. This is a heroic title.

According to Famitsu, the game will be different from anything Platinum has done before, and the developers aim to make it available on all platforms. The GG project will be released by itself, and the IP is fully owned by Platinum.

Kamiya added: "Although it feels a lot like action games, it's not just a game focused on action."

However, no matter what Project GG is, it sounds in its infancy. Studio director Atsushi Inaba mentioned that Platinum is still forming a development team.

The GG project is the second of four Platinum 4 announcements. Although the site itself has not been updated, this may soon change.
