a currently unsolved mystery Cyberpunk 2077 It’s become even more mysterious due to recent events The Witcher 3 Next generation update.
The next-gen update for The Witcher 3 was recently released, breathing new life into the seven-year-old game. There are also new things to discover, like a quest that will get you something that fans of the Netflix show might be excited to see. But the most mysterious of all is the connection to a mystery that originated in Cyberpunk 2077 and remains unsolved two years later.
You see, you can find this set of six alphanumeric characters in Cyberpunk: FF 06 B5. You see, these figures can be found on a statue in Night City (thanks to Kotaku), and some monks are praying in front of the statue. That mystery isn’t quite solved yet, and there’s a new question, as a new set of characters has been discovered in The Witcher 3.
If you head to the ruined fortress in Velen, you’ll see some symbols, and some letters from the in-game alphabet, Slavic Glagolitic. When translated, letters in the outer circle translate to FF, VQ, BZ, KW, and GB, while letters in the inner circle translate to FP, OVE, and YAR (thanks to Eurogamer). The random selection of letters doesn’t mean much, but the innermost symbol of this new icon found in The Witcher 3 shows some specially drawn lines that also appear on the Cyberpunk 2077 statue.
What all of this actually means has been the subject of speculation for the past two years, and there’s even an entire subreddit dedicated to figuring out what it might be. We know with almost certainty that this secret hasn’t been revealed by anyone, as Cyberpunk Pawel Sasko’s mission director stated in a recent stream. For now, we all just have to keep tinkering with it.
In the meantime, you can check out the video below from xLetalis covering the entire mystery, including recent additions to The Witcher 3.
