Sifu originally only appeared on the PC and PlayStation consoles in February of this year, but developer Sloclap has since added a switch port. Xbox players, who have been neglected up until now, will soon be able to rejoice, too, as a release on Microsoft devices has been confirmed.
Sifu marks the playful declaration of love to the martial arts cinema. References include flicks like The Raid, Old Boy, Kill Bill and many more. So it’s not really surprising that recently a Film adaptation of the rock-hard beating game announced would. If you still want to get to grips with the game itself but only own an Xbox, now’s your chance to do so.

As confirmed by developer Sloclap, Sifu will soon be available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The studio does not name an exact day, but with March 2023 the period is already well defined. The Arenas update will also be released along with the port. In the new mode, you bang your way through arenas and are rewarded with new skills for your hero. Other rewards include outfits and cheats.
Sifu was first released in February this year on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC via the Epic Games Store. Sloclap finally followed up with an implementation for the Nintendo Switch in November. You hunt down the assassins who killed your family. You mainly use your fists, but also various weapons. Due to the steep learning curve and crisp difficulty level, Sifu is often compared to Souls likes like Dark Souls or (even more so) Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
