It’s only been a few weeks since the third wave of DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was released. There hasn’t been much news from Nintendo since then. However, as with any major content update, there is a possibility that some bugs have appeared in the game.
Well, Nintendo was aware of this. In fact, the company released a brand new update tonight. After you update Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the game should be at version 2.2.1. As for the patch notes, they only mention a few bug fixes. You can see the full patch notes below.
Solved problems
- Fixed an issue where the image would be choppy when playing online in Berlin Byways.
- Fixed an issue where, when playing in the London Loop, Lakitu would carry the player after falling off the course and they would not be returned to the correct location.
