Users are waiting like the rain for the cross-platform feature to have the same WhatsApp account on two different mobiles and there is a trick that takes advantage of the fact that this function is already available for tablets to do so.

With this method you will not need to download any third party software on any of your mobiles, so it is totally safe and it does not require anything other than the official WhatsApp app.
In summary, you will make WhatsApp believe that one of your mobiles is a tablet, and so you can use the messaging application on two smartphones at the same time, as it happens with Telegram.
Use WhatsApp on two Android phones at the same time
You can now use the WhatsApp account you have on your mobile from your tablet simultaneously thanks to the cross-platform functions of the application, and if you pretend that your mobile is a tablet, you can do the same, but on two mobiles.
To do this, you must first activate the developer options on the second mobile in which you want to use WhatsApp. You can do this by pressing the build number several times, in the smartphone settings. Then you just need to follow these steps:
- Open Developer Options in Settings.
- Find the smallest width section and put 600.
- Install WhatsApp in its version 2.22.25.8.
- Open WhatsApp and link your second mobile to the primary mobile account.
WhatsApp, when detecting this screen width, will interpret that the mobile is a tablet, and the linking process will begin, so you will have to take the main mobile, open WhatsApp and click on the Settings button to then press Link the device and read the QR which will display the screen of the other mobile.
Once the linking process is complete, WhatsApp will work on both mobiles functionally and you can go back to Developer options to set the screen width to its previous level and to return the aspect ratio of the elements on the screen to normal.
For everything to go well, it is important that this version of WhatsApp -or a later version- is installed on your smartphone, otherwise the option to use it for tablets will not be available and this method will not work.
