Developer PlatinumGames has announced the release date of its recent Kickstarted The Wonderful 101: Remastered.
The remastered film is scheduled to be released in North America on May 19 and in Europe on May 22. The news was released earlier today and comes from preparations from game director Hideki Kamiya.
Kamiya said: "This is not just a simple port. We have made adjustments to the controls of each new platform and made some adjustments that will make it easier to master and play. Most importantly, we have improved Image quality and frame rate to suit modern hardware. Overall, what I want to say is "Wonderful 101: Remake" is the definitive version of the game. "
The Wonderful 101: Remastered for $ 39.99 / £ 39.99.
Wonderful 101 Kickstarter was launched earlier this year and quickly broke its $ 50,000 funding goal. Funding is currently close to $ 1.7 million, which will add to a 2D horizontal scrolling adventure called First Mission called Luka. As the previous goal was reached, the game will be developed for the PC and PS4 along with Switch.
Jingu Shrine and Astushi Inaba were originally released exclusively as Wii U, saying as early as 2018 that the studio was negotiating with Nintendo on a possible Switch version. In the past, Kamichiro Kamiya expressed interest in developing a sequel to the game because his team "has invested a lot of work" and it would be "unfortunate" if they missed the opportunity to tell a new story with the character. .
