Cult of the Lamb is getting a big free update that, among other things, gives every weapon a heavy attack.
Just one week after its release in August 2022, Cult of the Lamb has attracted over 1 million players. The Blood Moon Festival followed in October with more content.
Now Massive Monsters announces another free update for the RPG.
On Steam, the developer has already given a small preview of what will be included in the update.
Aside from fixing bugs and improvements, the next major update will have more depth and focus on combat and dungeon gameplay.
This introduces a new heavy attack for each weapon type. For example, wielding a sword will throw enemies back if you’re surrounded.
The ax boomerang throw, on the other hand, is a possible ranged option. Because a charged ax can be thrown in a straight line before returning to your new position and slashing enemies in either direction.
Finally, a flurry of daggers grants plenty of pain as the heavy dagger attack rains down from the sky, knocking enemies away.
In addition to this, the update will also include new features that will add depth, difficulty, accessibility and quality of life to the game.
