With Sam & Max, two absolute cult figures and fan favorites among adventure fans are returning in the new year. Skunkape Games has now confirmed a remaster of an earlier classic.
The third and final chapter in the original Sam & Max adventure series returns once again. As the new year begins, Skunkape Games has confirmed that Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse Remastered will be releasing over the course of the new year 2023; a more specific date was not initially mentioned.
The remaster of the adventure classic was confirmed via the developer’s official Twitter account; there they also showed a small trailer for the project, in which various scenes from the original adventure can be seen.

Said video clip ends with the year “2023”, but for the moment we have to be patient, whether it will be at the beginning, in the middle or at the end of the year. The platforms are also not yet confirmed in the course of the teaser, but previous games in the series then appeared on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. The Devil’s Playhouse is likely to be similar.
The original game was developed by Telltale Games at the time. The release took place in the then more widespread episode form; The overall project comprised five episodes. It was the third season of the Telltale Games series of games. Skunkape Games previously released Sam & Max: Save the World Remastered and Sam & Max: Beyond Space and Time Remastered.
Sam & Max’s second Telltale season will also be remastered later this year.
