Rally driver Ken Block died in a snowmobile accident yesterday, Monday.
Well-known rally driver Ken Block has died at the age of 55. Block died yesterday in an accident in Utah with his snowmobile when it fell down a steep cliff.
According to news channel ABC News, Block was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
His auto and apparel company Hoonigan wrote on Instagram about the loss of their co-founder: “Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And above all a father and husband. He will be missed beyond belief.”
In the video game world, Ken Block was known for his appearances and involvement in racing franchises such as Need for Speed, DiRT, and Forza.
His Hoonigan vehicles can be driven in Forza Horizon 3 to 5, for example. In the games Colin McRae’s DiRT 2 and 3, for example, he played himself as a driver.
