Sports Story suddenly appeared on the Nintendo Switch eshop just before Christmas and has since been downloaded several times. What wasn’t made clear originally, since it was a surprise release, is that there are a few noticeable performance issues, which should hopefully be fixed with today’s release of the new update. The team at Sidebar Games also said that they are currently busy working on a second update for Sports Story that should help address some of the less common issues that players have encountered since the game’s release. Here’s what should be fixed in the 1.0.3 update:

Tennis academy
Talking to the receptionist a second time after starting the baby court quest will undo your progress but advance your mission. After downloading the patch, talk to the receptionist again to fix your mission progress.
Hitting the gong twice in a row can advance your mission progress. After downloading the patch, hit the gong again to fix your progress (unless you’ve already resumed playing after this point).
The clue can be looted through the fence in the basement, meaning it won’t be there when you need it later. After downloading the patch, the trace will return when you need it.
The challenge on the left will now give a punch card.
A children’s tennis match should be less confusing.
The impressive Kelley Gibbon
Leaving and returning will make Kelley’s challenge trigger disappear. After downloading the patch, talk to him again to make the challenge appear again.
Back to Dark Whispers
This isn’t a bug, but people are stuck going back to where Cap is tearing down the bridge when the Perpetrator shows up. To escape, go back through the previous rooms and push the coffee machine on the left.
Catching bees
Sometimes there were not enough bees that entered the hive when they tried to catch them. People with this problem will be able to continue by waiting a certain amount of time during the challenge.
Chase Trade
Chase will not accept the offered trade if you do not have more than $3 in your possession. This will be fixed in a patch, but it’s possible to get around in the meantime by making sure you have cash.
Return of the silver mine
Returning to the silver mines on the mine cart could get you stuck.
