At the end of 2022, the Spanish government gave a gift to all its citizens: an application called Mi Carta Ciudadana whose quality and efficiency are so good that it does not seem to be an official application made by the administration. Finally, something is changing in the bureaucracy of the country and we love it.
The iPhone version of this application also has an interesting complement: it allows us to be able to justify our university degree via Passbook. Let’s see how we can obtain this qualification for the Portfolio application without difficulties.
Prove your university studies from the iPhone
The first thing to do is to download the My Citizen Folder application, available for free on the App Store. Once you have installed it, you will need to have a digital certificate installed or activate the Cl@ve service to be able to connect. Remember that you can easily install a digital certificate on your iPhone.
When you have successfully logged into the application, you will be able to see that on its main screen you will have access to several sections to view information such as your property, the points and the status of your driving license or even a calendar that tells you when to renew your ID card, passport and driver’s license.
In the bottom bar, click on the “My Folder” section:
Then click on ‘Education and training’:
And then click on ‘University degrees’:
Finally, select the university title that is displayed (or choose one if you have several) and click on the ‘Send to Passbook’ button:
The diploma certificate in Passbook format will appear in a new panel, and you just have to click on the ‘Add’ button to include it in your ‘Portfolio’ application.
Note that This receipt is valid for one year., so you will have to repeat this step in a year if necessary. Ideally, you should only do this when bureaucratically necessary, in situations where you need to prove your education.
